1. Agreement
By booking a slot with Concept by JC, you agree to these Terms and to the content rules below. If you do not agree, please do not book. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2. What we do
Concept by JC displays your photo or video on the LED billboard at 1560 Broadway in Times Square, New York City. A standard slot is 15 seconds and plays once an hour, every hour, for a full 24 hours on the date you choose. You can add more plays per hour, longer business spots, and other options at checkout.
3. Booking and payment
Prices are in US dollars and shown at checkout. Personal slots start at $160 and business spots start at $500, plus any add-ons you select. A $100 rush fee is added automatically when your chosen date is within 3 days. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete.
4. Your content and the rights you give us
You are responsible for everything you submit. By uploading content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, including the likeness of any person shown and any music, logos, or artwork it contains. You grant Concept by JC permission to display your content on the billboard for your booking. We will ask you separately, and get your agreement, before featuring your content in our own marketing.
5. Personal and business use
The standard slot is for personal moments only, such as birthdays, proposals, and celebrations, with no connection to any brand or organization. To show a brand, business, product, logo, or QR code, you must select the Business option when you book.
6. Content we cannot display
To keep the screen safe for everyone, we cannot display:
- Religious content
- Political content
- Copyright infringement
- Promotion of a brand, business, logo, or QR code without the Business option
- Display of famous people without authorization
- Nudity or cleavage
- Child-inappropriate content
- Sexual content
- Disrespectful content
- Smoking
- Violence
- Stock photos
7. Approval and rejection
We review submissions and may decline any content that breaks these rules or the law. If we cannot run your content, we will contact you to fix it or discuss your options.
8. Scheduling and go-live
Your exact time slot within each hour is assigned by us and shared with you before your date. We guarantee your content live within 4 hours on weekdays. Weekend go-live times cannot be guaranteed. Display can also be affected by technical issues, weather, or third-party factors outside our control, and we will work with you to make it right if that happens.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Because each booking reserves dedicated airtime and preparation begins right away, bookings are generally final. If we fail to display your approved content on your scheduled date due to our own error, we will reschedule or refund it in full.
If a refund is requested for any other reason, we retain a 20% non-refundable fee to cover our processing and preparation costs, and refund the remaining 80%. This includes, for example, selecting the wrong option (such as submitting business or branded content on a personal slot), content we cannot accept under the rules above, or a change of mind. Where possible we will first offer to fix the issue, for example by switching you to the correct option, so you can keep your booking instead of cancelling.
Rush orders are the exception. When a booking is placed within 3 days of the display date, a $100 rush fee applies and expedited preparation begins immediately. If your content is returned or rejected for any reason on your side, such as the wrong option, a format issue, or content against our guidelines, the booking is non-refundable, including the partial refund described above. If the failure is on our side and we do not display your approved content on your date, the full refund described above still applies.
10. Limitation of liability
Our service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Concept by JC for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one posted here at the time you book.
